im am going to get two 150w envirolights 1 for veg 6400k and 1 for flowering 2700k i am just wondering if the 150w 2700k will be enough for flowering??

so then it will not be enough.Instead a 150 envirolight get a 150 hps from htg supply only 69.99. It will be much more efficient and you will not be mad at the results.also it has the same amount of heat and uses the same amount of electricity

I broke my 150watt Blue a week ago, then broke my red today. Rearranging my grow room.

They are heavy bulbs by the way.

Now do the math if you are trying to buy both bulbs back
u might as well go and get a 150 or 250 mh/hps way more better. Those cfls i would use for cloning only.I really not a fan a veggin with floros id rather use my 150hps but i plan on adding a250 mh with it.

It depends how big your plant gets. Each bulb has a different volume it covers. Check my signature, I have a comprehensive chart in my second post in it.

15euro each on ebay. And it all depends on what type of grow you plan on doing. Low heat low cost CFL for me. I'd love a 1000watt HPS but my elect bill would be sky high plus, leaking light is a dead give away and I live in as nosey street! lol

Decided to go with 7 20-43 watt CLF's for the rest of this grow. And see what happens... I'll I'm looking for is enough weed to keep me going until the next harvest. Not being too greedy at the mo! lol

Ok Good luck and i will like to see how your cfl grow turns out.I know I neeed at least 4oz a month and i dont think cfls can do that without using as many watts as a h.i.d.

if you think that would be best for your space good luck.I already said a mh or hps pulling the same amount of electricity would be more productive but hey..

yeah i got the lights i got a 125w 6400k blue and a 125w 25000k purple and a 200w 2700k red they are ecolights i think they were a good buy. i want to stick with cfls because i would have heat problems otherwise to small a space.

Ok cant nothing beat that then.Cfls could produce good yeild and nice colas with alot of resin. You should do good with your cfl grow.good luck

You can produce pretty much a good yield with cfl for sure and dont let anyone tell you otherwise. I got 375w of them and am doing better than my mate under 400w hps and he been growing years.lol its about how you use them together with grow technique. Check my thread mate.

I have my plants in the same state as you withjust regular CFLS 20 watt. Got a new200 watt Evolivte red. Just to see, I've 400watt of CFL a d I know the harvest won't be HPS but will be ok. I keep the lights 3 -4 cm from the plants.

I'm drunk just in case I'm not making sense

there are 250w red aswell i was thinking of getting that but i got 200w before i saw it.
From what I've heard the purple is the best combines the red and white light. I wouldn't bother getting the red if I was you. I would have gotten the purple, but my cash flow was low. 95 euro for 200 purple in my local hydro shop, 60 for the red.
