A 250 watt is a better choice. The 250 is more efficient watt per watt compared to the 150, it is like having 2 of the 150's.

You could get twice the yield with the 250, your choice though. A good auto can yield 2 or 3 oz. and more. If you are in soil I would use pots at least 3 gallon to make sure the roots can get all the size they need.

Ijust chopped a plant that was under 150whps with 200w cfl sidelights and I got just under 2oz off her but that was with long veg, the other girl looks to be about a little over an oz

ive seen people produce with a 150w 2oz+ per plant. keep it to 2 plants though. anything more and your gonna affect the overall yeild. but a good long veg time and a lot of topping you should be ok.

This is encouraging since I am using a 150 watt light right now... but I am also using 3 62 watt (300 watt) CFL's that are the 2700 k lights... pic below

I hope to get 2 per... but I doubt it.. specially since I am using non controllable soil.. (MG MC 6 mo) I have roots organic and fox farm trio for my next grow... this set up it is hard to keep humidity up and temps down (average between 84 to 86 with humidity in the 50's).. If I run the full exhaust the humidity drops almost to 30 and the temp only drops about to 83 (if anyone knows what I am doing wrong? Maybe a carbon filter would help keep moisture in).. not good... So I have since added ice water to my humidifier and also have those ice packs (4) in a zip-lock freezer bag next to the intake of the humidifier... it does bring temps down 4 or 5 degrees. I know that for the final 2 weeks it will be real easy to drop temps and humidity at night for, hopefully, higher resign content.

it can be done. i just pulled 70.9g off of one plant under a 250 and i chopped it about 3 weeks early. MG soil isnt the best but it can be ok. if its your first run aim low and surprise yourself. dont listen to all the hate people give the low wattage lights. of course they arent as good as the 600/1000w setup's but they still can give you a decent yeild for a personal grow and they are more economical.

with regards to your humidity issue they higher temps make humidty hard. keep a small tub full of water and a sponge half submerged in it in the space and as it warms, the water evaporates and gives about a 5-10% increase in humidty (does for me). 84-86f is ok. ideally you want it a bit cooler. try upping your extraction a bit. im using 2 120mm pc fans and keep my temps in that range during flower.
