So you guys think this is an okay light schedual for germ ...I know it will work because I have two popped but it took an ungodly long time for thsm to sprout....I have added extra lights since then but I have the same light schedual

what do you mean by reveg man if there not even popped yet and the two that are are seedlings if there going outside their going to veg all summer anyway so there is no revegging in this scenario

it would be fine to run them at 18/6 to promote growth faster the amount of time the sun is out during a day wont hurt them when they go out as long as you harden them off first

to answer your first question about if its an ok schedule as long as you keep your medium moist not soaked and area warm man you dont need any light to germ seeds

Well since I posted this 8 have popped...and if they are one an 18 hr or 24 hr light schedual and u take them outside in april and have 14 hrs of light they will try to flower...then they realize the days are still getting longer and go back to veg...or am I just crazy....

Iv always been told...read..and seen for myself by leaving the lights on that long inside and taking them out in early April will stunt your plant ...I tried matching the suns hrs before but the plants were already sprouted and they done way better than the ones I left on for 24 hrs and 18\6...I'm a firm believer that the more u mimic nature the better results you will have....if I could I would have them outside now....I got a late start this year ...usually u plant on valentine's day but I couldn't get my supplies till last Tuesday

naw man keep them in a little longer and youll have to harden them off outside put them out in sun 30min to a hour a day increasing time over 2week period untill their able to withstand the conditions outside and by then the hours in the day will have increased and youll be good to go

See that's the problem...I can't keep them inside that long....and I always take my plants outside everytime I get a chance..it helps so much imo...getting that sunlight...wind..rain beating on them and that junk makes em strong. ..and when I do that I never have to harden my shit off when it's time to go outside for good which is a plus cause u don't have to keep em in the shade for two weeks...a plant can do a lot of growing in a 2 week period

i dont know what climate your in says east coast im also on east coast and if i put out in feb or even mid april theres still a chance for frost this year has been pretty mild but i still wouldnt risk putting my girls out untill around mothers day or later depending on the weather near Adirondacks here...............................just my 2 cents though many different thing work for diff ppl thats what makes this plant magical lol

I am usually a pretty good judge of when the frost is over...and I keep them in pots I can move easily just incase it frosts or where I have steaks around my plants I will run down and cover them up with plastic or a sheet the night before...but that's only if I can't move em

Oh ur exactly right...but most ppl never take them out till its time to permanently leave them and then they have to harden them off for awhile ...but by doing it the way we are speaking of there isn't any need for that...it helps in so many way to get the exposed early....I'll even let them stay out on cold ass days If they r big enough to help build a good immune system

I got a 50% shade cloth for the green house so the hardening off is easier.
