12x9 basic grow room questions?

hey guys, so i have begun to tackle my room for my next grow. I have done a few closet grows in the past and now that i have some idea of what i am doing im gonna step it up a notch. so i am working with a 12x9 room with a 9 ft ceiling. I am going to section off a shelf that is 5x3 the 5 feet running along the wall and sticking out 3 feet, same width as the door frame, for veg growth, im going to keep my mothers on the bottom, then have a top shelf for clones. Both of these are going to be lit with flourscents and cfl's. So my actual flowering space will be 9x9x9. What is considered ample lighting. I know i can proably fit 4 1000w hps lights in it, but that will create too much heat and i still want to "fly under the radar on my electric bill. So i am thinking 2 1000w hps lights with the 400w hps i allready have in the middle a little closer to the plants. Will this be enough? Also i am considering investing money in a ebb and grow system and getting the expansion pack for more buckets, i think you can go up to 48pods with that system. However due to clash flow issues, i think the first time im just going to do soil. How many plants can i fit in here? I want to maximize the amount of bud my room will produce. (dont we all?) so im not sure if i want to go with alot of small plants with little veg time, or go with less but bigger plants. Any suggestions? keeep in mind the room has a pretty tall ceiling, which got really lucky, this should help with heat issues, also i can grow taller plants in here. Thanks for reading guys. If i use 2 1000w lights and 1 400w light how much bud should i expect? Im figuring if i do everything correctly i should get 4-5 lbs, but whats a more realestic number? I am going to be using co2 and foxfarm nutes. Also i allready have the dehumidifier, needed fans, sulfur burner. I need to get a tdm meter, and also i need to get mor phup and phdown. i have northern lights, bubblegum, super silver haze, blue mystic. I want to grow all 4 in here. any thoughts guys.

Using the two 1000s means each light will have to cover 4½' x 9'. 9 feet is a long distance and I believe it's too far. I would consider 4-600s. Im have a similar problem Im discussing in my journal.

 Another way around it is just put as many 600 HPS lights as you can in there, they are actually more efficient and they don't create the heat the 1000 watter do... I am using 1000 watters and next grow I am changing to 600's... The 600's wont use as much power either so you don't have to worry about the spike... Stagger your lights coming on if its an issue as well... Peace and greenery my friend....
