12" pots in e & b

4 x 4 tray e & b setup with 12" pots. have seedlings rooted in 1' rw cube. should i transfer the 1" rw cubes into 4" rw cubes or can i just put the 1" cubes in my 12" pots with hydroton? in either case, how deep should the top/ bottom of the rw cube be? i cant flood all the way to the top of the pots obviously.

anyone? maybe 12' pots are only for drip and not e&b?

I wouldn't use anything bigger than 6''. You should fill your pots about 3/4 the way full with the hydrotons, then flood the table to where you want it. Then dig down to where you find the top of the water and put the cubes a half inch above the water line.
