No way to make it show faster.

Kinda odd though that a quick flowering plant like that owuldnt be showing. You may have a light crack of some sort. Any light even 1 little strand can prevent the flower from entering flowering stage. Could also be a thin plastic or something too that light shines through. Or possibly their home gets looked at alot when they are sleeping? Idk man seems odd though that it just wouldnt show sex.

no there is nothing you can do to speed up the prosses. but you should have been able to see something by now... make sure the timer is set correctly and there is 100% no light when lights go off, that will delay it by a week or so....

Hi,

They are at a friends house in a cupboard, we are both sure there are no light leaks.

I did think it was strange that they didnt show, they are roughly 5 weeks now, 3 weeks veg.

So a dark period wouldnt throw out pistils?

On a tight schedule - huh? You don't mention anything about what kind of lights you use, so I'm asking.
Possibly your lights aren't strong enough to trigger flowering. And generally speaking, the more intense your lights, the sooner you'll see flowering - which makes think of my next question. How long did you veg the plants for? Maybe a picture?

The dark period wouldnt have an effect on how fast the pistils came out. If its in flowering stage its flowering regardless. Nothin ya can do to speed her up except a little prayer haha =P

Yes, tight schedule, meaning i want it done by a certain time.

Lights are 250w HID with 100w of of Cfl on the one plant, in soil, vegged for 3 weeks and been on 12/12 for 18 days now.
Nutes for veg. 7-7-7
nutes for flower 2-10-10

im trying to upload pics now but having troubles,

yeh, strange man--never had that problem, ever! And furthermore, plants outdoors get plenty of moon light, starlight, etc, I don't think a light crack would do THAT much damage, if anything it would just stress it out a bit...weird man. Are you sure those aren't Tomatoes? ;)

Damn, she is over 5 weeks now!

So how do they do it when going 12/12 from seed.
I have seen little plants like 6 inch with pistils growing bud.

It will take the 49 days after it starts flowering, not from the light switch. This is why I count flowering time from showing sex, and not from the light switch.

A mature plant will start flowering in days, a younger plant may take weeks to begin flowering.

It would take 49 days if you were flowering a Mature plant.

But when you try to flower a seedling that is not showing signs of maturity then you have to add on 2-3 weeks to the flower time.

See the plant has to have the correct hormone levels to flower properly and vigorously. The plant has to be Sexually mature.

When a plant reaches maturity it will tell you by doing 2 things, First it will show preflowers at the node. Second, it will start to grow with alternating nodes.

If you try to flower before maturity your flowering will always take longer and it will not flower to its full potential. The plant will have to struggle to keep up its flower hormone levels.

I am strongly against flowering premature plants.
