12/12 from seed question

I see all of these 12/12 from seed grows and they're yielding these gigantic plants, but it leaves me wondering something.

How does a plant grow so massive if it's exposed to 12/12 lighting it's entire life? Doesn't the "flowering" hormone stop the growth phase? Or are these people just simply topping these plants?

12/12 dosent stop the growth hormone, why do you think plants nearly double in size during flowering stage, 12/12 just reduces the amount of energy the plant uses on growing leaves, focuses on flower development instead

plants can adapt very well. 12/12 from seed generally grows single large colas.

use 12/12 from seed on sativa dom or pure sativas thats how most peoples get sooo big. most indicas and def almost all pure indicas dont respond well to 12/12 from seed. for them 12/12 from clone is a better option

are you sure about that chitown? cause dosent sativa originate from southern climates where natural light cycles are longer? and indica from northern = with shorter natural light cycles? so wouldnt it be easier more natural for an indica strain to be in a 12/12 photo period, if you put a sativa in 12/12 it seems like it would slow it down quite a bit?

why would you even question me bro. sativas origenate in the tropics and the light cycles never exceed 13 hours a day. most troical sativas wont even bud untill there ready to regaurdless of photoperiod.
an indica 12/12 from seed will remain small and yield you poorly

really tropical regions only get 13hrs of light, hmm thats why there hot right? as for the not qeustioning you just because you beenn on her longer and posted more dosen't mean you know more and are immune to questioning. maybe your right and i might be wrong id just like to see the actual facts not just take your word for it

lmao@u i just gave you facts. its ok we all were noobs at one time right? and tropical areas are not hot because of the amount of sun there hot because of the intensity of the sun. there right on the equater

Would 12/12 from seed be worth while on a skunk #1 fem G13 seed ? Thanks for the idea.

i dont care what comes from your mouth man unless you can put down actual sources. otherwise im just taking your word for it, id rather not just believe something someone tells me you know is that understandable. i mean i sure you believe everything everyone tells you without knowing if its actually fact but whatever if that's okay for you than that's fine just ain't me. oh an equator is spelled with an O

You sure about that?

I've been growing indica dom or pure indica in a pc case for a long time. I choose them specifically. My journal covers the last 9 months or so with a seed going in every 3 weeks. I would have thought if indicas didn't do well I would have noticed it by now.
Have you had bad results doing 12/12 from seed with indica or are you just repeating what you have read?

looking at a globe it looks possible that the north& the south might change with the seasons while the exlosure to the equater might remain the same or change very little good question

I aggree with Chi.
Fuck 12.12 from seed.
a regular grow will blast away 12/12 from seed harvest.

If you are limited to space, and have shitty grow limitations then fine. But My experience sucks. i tried it 2x
once with 2 seeds from seed and the second time from clones.
The clone harvest was better because it had a couple weeks of veg time.
I havent tried it with a Sativa dom. But my experience is with indica.
Just so you see where i'm comming from.
These are under 400w HPS and 70W HPS side lighting.

It yeilded more than both 12/12 from seed harvest.
