12/12 from seed CFL what do you think? 30 days first grow

well 2 of the plant's got burned from the cfls ,this is my first grow, they seem to be growing good. maybe over watering?

Not bad going so far! Plants look nice and green too, how many lights are you using?

I have 1-85w 5500k, 2-45w 4100k, 4-23w 2700k,3-23w 6500k ,and i have 4-40w 2700k on the way.

Hiya brewster05, looking good so far..how come you went for so many little CFL...I know some peeps go this way...

85w = 4250 Lumens - Distance
45w = 3000 Lumens - Distance(x2)
23w = 1500 Lumens - Distance(x7)
40w = 2650 Lumens - distance(x4)


85+90+92+69+160=496w per Hr

might make more sense to get a 1x Giant CFL or Hps Setup(+possible CFL for lower growth)

what kinda space you got to work with?

EDIT: Never done that 12/12 from Seed, might have to give it a go....

i will change some of the 23w light's with the 40w as soon as i get them.

hiya brewster05, that would bring your Electrical usage down a bit? though wasn't saying You doing it wrong or owt wrong..just wondered? I mean if you don't mind the expense and haven't got any problems with Temps then why not add em to existing ones...lots different Folks go different routes with Grows...I mean I use about £2 a day and I have a Fair few bulbs burning bright(though at mo 2 x Grow Space on 12/12)

I still use CFL for 2 lots of Grows at different stages + got a 250w Hps setup...my Grow spaces came about because of...I dunno...thinking I would have more Failure..but didn't so ended up adapting any Little space I could find..Lol

1 Grow Room(Cupboard) has got 1 X Giant Dual CFL + 3 X 30w 2700K
2nd Grow Room(Cabinet) has 1 X 50w 6400K + 2 X 30w 6400K
3rd Grow Room(Biggest Cupboard 4'x3'x8') 250w Hps(which once I've sorted out main Grow is being upgraded to 600w)

Still got a box full of CFL, kinda collected em on FleaBay every time I spotted a Bargain...

A friend gave me the seed's so idk what strain they are. i got 3 females out of 4 , also how long do you think till they will be done maybe another 4 or 5 weeks?
