Our Gov signed ammendment 64 into law today, so recreational use and possession of up to 1 oz is legal. They expect to have recreational sales start next fall. Opponents hope it will take longer, but a lot of people are expecting a gradual roll out of sales so that they can get to tax revenues sooner. Anyway.....it's a great day.

The faint smell of liberty on the afternoon breeze almost makes me hopeful that America has turned back from the brink.

Nah, that's just crazy talk. Obama will soon be taking "measures" against Colorado to let the states know their rightful place, under the heel of federal boots!

But gazing into my crystal ball i predict that that will not happen before Sativex™ hits the US market ... cn

Infact legal cannabis could improve sales of Sativex as some people will always want that "factory produced" shit.

EDITED: Autocorrect fucked that.

Yeah, cuz after over 70 years the Fed is just going to bend over because of a couple votes.

And I'm sure no big business is going to motivate politicians in anyway to protect their interests.

Yup, its all smooth sailin from here, no problems in sight whatsoever

All you gotta do is make sure the Federalis don't get you.

Just keep thinking pigs are pigs and there shouldn't be a problem.

Keep the grow personal
and they wont fuck with you

Try to run a 10000 watt op and you will probably be advised to find a good lawyer
You have a serious problem with the cannabis industry.

Why is this? What about between grows when your stash hasn't quite lasted as long as you thought? What about before MMJ?

In short, what's your fucking problem bro?

Thank you and congrats to Colorado.

It'll be interesting on the big pharma front. Sativex is an admittance by the FDA that cannabis really does have some medicinal qualities, but I'm going to remain skeptical. I can't even bring myself to be cautiously optimistic yet.

The one thing that's an effective gimme is that los Federales will have to reschedule weed.
It won't have a real effect on us as long as it remains Federally unapproved however. Poppies and coca produce sched 2s, and growing those is a bit of a frowner as per the law. cn

You that shitty of a person that you freak out that people grow more than you?

And everyone runs out at some point and has to buy it.

Why do you hate dealers so much? You realise 99% of the worlds smokers get their pot from an "illegal source", right?

Nah, Chesus is cool, just some of his viewpoints are retarded.

Legal to grow but not legal to sell is his viewpoint...yet what he fails to realise is at some stage I might want/need to go to the store and buy some, maybe try a strain before growing it, yet his viewpoint is as restrictive as prohibition to someone who cannot grow/sold all theirs/isn't bothered growing.

His viewpoint as usual suits himself and noone else, yet he claims to be a "liberal".

Weed should be for everyone (except kids)!!

And further to my point, when the shops start selling in CO/WA, I'll be over to spend lots of my Euros on Tourism.

Baked on legal weed checking out the sights, contributing money that'd NEVER have gotten into your economy otherwise.

Keep fighting the good fight, the world is watching.
