10x5x6.5, grow tent, 2200w, SOG sea of green..... Too muCh??

I'm planing a bedroom grow.

Is 2200w( 2x600w 1x1000w) too much for a 10'x5'x6.5' tent with 40 clones ( air cooled with 3 6in inline fans)?

Thinking of a coco/soil/perlite medium 2gal grow bags.Veg about a week and half.

Anyone with sea of green experience regarding strains and technique I would like to hear from you.

Sounds good man, you have over 1sq foot per plant, perfect for SOG. Only thing is I'd like to have more light in there. But you should be fine. Make it rain!

for 40 clones in a sog? Why, that is a lot of light for a sog. Have you ever considered going vertical? A stadium is easy to make with some cinderblocks and some planks. Then yu hang those lights in between. You can triple your plants. Way cool. In a sog you dont need that pene so 600s are good. At leat that is what I have noticed from the tops of my trees. Also read quite a bit. So idk for sure . . .

I dont quite understand the vertical idea but it sounds cool..

so the plan has changed a little.. it always does:eyesmoke:

35 plants, 3gl grow bags, 100% coco,

With 35 plants is a 50sqf room and 3gal grow bags, I'm thinking about fimming or topping plus a little lst to control height, fill the room, and insure proper root growth through a two week veg.

Most importantly I want all plants to be as healthy as possible going into flowering.

Ill have the clones in 20oz cups in a 2x4x5 tent with 4 t5 for two weeks prior to veg. I hope to be able to fim/top in this tent and lst the first week of veg( plan to veg in 10x5x6.5 tent with 1x1000w.). then give the babies 1week to really get healthy before the flip.

If all goes well I hope to have 4 main tops colas with zero side branching per plant and have a 50sqf cannopy of ganja with 2200w of love!

( I have had luck with fiming but that was a scrog grow.)

What y'all think??

Unless you got an auto watering system full coco is gonna make you spend most of your time watering.

Soil would be best if you dont.

Dont bother with fimming LSTing, it just adds more time to veg and adds stress.

I would go full soil and get as many plants in as you can.

Do little veg time after the clones have legs or they will get to bushy.

Unless you already got lights i would just get 3 or 4 600w HPS instead of the 1000w.

bingo. go 4 600s easier to cover more area and move around if you need like somewhere.

search vertical. I'll be going vert in the next few months. i run 2 600's and a 400 but had nasty thirp infestation so i am starting fresh again..... suck.
