ok so i just bought 2 100w hps safety lights and i need help wiring them up.
all ive got to do is to connect the power wires to a source of power..duh
but what i was thinkin was to use an extension cord and wire nut the wires right to it.
think this will work

oh and the lights have to be always grounded so would attaching the groung wire to the 3rd connection point on an outdoor extension cord do the trick?
im kinda stuck here cuz im doing a stealth grow in a 2nd floor apartment and i cant have any wires showing from my place

PLEASE post any suggestions

You probably need a ballast(or two) for them. Hooking HID bulbs directly to household current will not work.

In order for anyone to inform you about correct wiring it'd be best to know the exact fixtures you're working with.

i used a computer cord with 3 prong, which is a must, white to white black to black and green to green.

use a thicker cable, think safety 1st, ALWAYS
