Building a room for 2 Gavitas. Will be about 10 foot x 5 feet of canopy. The room will be insulated. My garage temps run 110 during this time of year so the tent wasnt cutting it. The room will be fully sealed with roof insulation as well. Ide guess an 18000 btu unit will cool the room but I cant figure out how to factor in the outside temps in the garage. Advice appreciated.

Are you going to use the ac to cool just the new grow space, or are you talking about an AC to cool the whole garage (which is what you should do)? Are you looking at a window AC, minisplit, or an actual ac unit?

2 gavitas = about 1 ton. That leaves only half a ton to cool the room from the ambient garage heat. Probably not enough.
