A Lumatek digital ballast is supposedly able to give 10% extra wattage on Supermax mode. To the people out there with these or similar 1100 w capable ballasts; whats the square footage of your flower rooms? Are you running the ballast at 110% and if so is it challenging to keep the space cool? And how is the density of the buds and total yield?
Previously I was limited in my flower room size to 4.5'x5.5'. It was a challenge keeping temps down in that room even being in a basement and with 800+ CFM of airflow split between a dedicated cooling duct circuit and carbon duct circuit. As such, I was never able to run the ballast on its highest setting.
I'm thinking 30-40 square feet but I'd love to hear your thoughts everyone. Reflector FYI is a 6" Magnum XXL with diffuser.
