1000w hps fixture

im gona buy a 1000w hps i have been looking on e-bay, they have alot of different choices. what is the best fixture to buy? i was thinking about the big unbrella type. what is the best for a spare bedroom? i will have good ventaltion in the room so do i need a air cooled fixture?

Yes you do need an air cooled hood, 1000 watt lights put a whole lot of heat

i would have to say the price i quite high at $348 but the shipping is out of control at $100. total of $448 no thanks.

You can get that reflector, ballast, and bulb for cheaper?
A ballast is heavy as shit and a reflector is big, there are going to be some shipping charges wherever you order from dude just to let you know

That site I linked you to sells that reflector alone for 197 I think, the best price I can find on ebay for it is 214 dollars

That thing isn't that close in size dude
The one I linked is 7 3/4"H X 26 1/4"W X 32 1/2"L
Much much bigger in terms of reflectors
