OK so i grew with a 250 watt HPS with 4 plants under it and stuff happened and i had to stop growing. im moving now to a actual house and ill have a ton of rooms to grow in. I only want to grow in one room. I was thinking of growing 10 plants( 5 elitegenetics double dipped sour banana and 5 chemdawg 1991). i know that i will need some money to start off so i made a cart in www.Htgsupply.com . I know that i will need more then this but i already have things like fans and pots and mylar. heres what i was thinking.

That 1000 watt puts off a lot of heat, especially in a grow tent,I had my 1000 in 4x4x7 running a cool hood, plus cold air intake and was having heat issues still I eventually just split a room in half with panda film.Plus it's cheaper to split a room I bought 2 tents for $240 that i don't use.A roll of panda film is like 90 bucks for 100 feet or you can buy by the foot for like $1.50

i agree about too much heat from 1000watts, even air cooled it takes a 424cfm fan to cool it, as opposed to a $25 250cfm duct fan to cool a 600w, also i have come to the conclusion a 1000w is perfect for a 4x4 or 5x5 area, you can pull it off using a 600w for a 4x4 area. i will say this, i have 1000watters from HTG, all megnetic ones and they are hot and noisey, good call going digital, i now only use 600 digis and they are dope, i also use easycool 6 reflectors over the euros bcus the easycools are a bit bigger, you may want a bigger light footprint

ok cool, i was wondering which hood, so i just picked one, good to know i should get the easycool, i plan to add stuff to the list to, so when i get more money i plan to get large intake and outake with a carbon filter. maybe instead of buying a 1000 watt ill get the digital 600watt until i have enough fans to keep the temp down, cause i would like to keep it cold in there to get some purple hues maybe.

yea i also plan to veg them out for 30 days minimum to increase yield and bud sizes.
