1000 watt or 600 watt

What will these do to my electric bill? Will it be too obvious of a jump? I am trying to figure out which to buy

You will be fine either way. A 1k will jump your bill about 35-4 bucks.

That would depend on where you live because different companies in different states have a different rate it seems. Now lets put it in this perspective a 600 W HPS at three feet away from the plant canopy can achieve the lighting goals as would a 1000 W HPS could at four feet away. If you can achieve the right amount of lumens with less wattage then what would be more efficient? Also the heat signature of the 1,000 is extremely hot a 600 does generate heat as well but easily managed compared to the 1,000 juggernauts.
