i have a 1000 watt cool tube with inline fan and all that my question is this morning my mh bulb just didnt light it was barely lit then i killed the power and restarted it after a bit it lit but it was like half as bright i could look right into it then i killed the juice again restarted it after a bit again and it was dead so i know the bulb was fried only 4 months old and oly used for about a month total 
so i replaced with my hps bulb it fired right up but it doesnt seem as bright as i remmember its bright dont get me wrong my question is there isnt something with the ballast or anything that could cause this right lights and ballasts usually burnout or they dont right i think its just in my head cause the two lights color and everything looks different so i'm just checking with you guys just to be shure its in my head i'm debating on buying a new hps just to be shure any info you guys could hit me with would be appreciated i am a medicle grower in colorado so light problems are a huge problem if i have one thanks
