1000 watt cfl, 250 watt hps

So i have 1000 watts cfl... and a 250watt how bulb... now i habe to get the balast for the bulb and can tomorrow, but i think the 1000watts of cfl will grow them as dense as 400says of cfl as long as i keep my lights extremely close. what are your opinions?!?!?

1000 watts of cfl will give you the same lumens as a 400w hps, but the 1000w of cfl will put off more heat overall.

Sighs the fan i have the bulbs don't even heat up to the touch.
