100 watt hps

I ahve found a 100 watt hps for like 20 bucks, and it fits normal light fixtures. for one plant in a small cabinet, will this make much of a difference? I have 4 26 watt cfls, 2 6500k, and 2 3500k, and I also have a 13 inch flouro. should I go and ahead and purchase this, or is this not powerful enough to have a real impact?

heres a pic of my current setup. all but one plant will be moved outdoors, and I am going to put coke can reflectors on the cfls. it looks dark in there because i had to adjust the brightness so you could see anything.

The mogul base may be the same size as a regular lamp fixture/receptacle but the hps lamp will not fire (might EXPLODE) in a regular incandescent fixture!

ALL hps/halide have to have a ballast to fire the light/regulate the voltage.

don't waste yer cash unless you're looking at a complete HID system.

so, do you think thes lights will be ok for vegging? I might add some more cfls, if i can fit them.

I don't use CFL's so I can't speak to them.

go t-5 for early growth and Halide for later veg and you'll never look back or be sorry.
