[FONT='Calibri','sans-serif'][FONT='Calibri','sans-serif']I need to start building out my room soon and have to make my final decisions so I can order everything. I've been reading on the forum for the last 2 weeks and it has really helped.
The grow area I want to build out is 12x5 and the overall room is 10x10. I get the extra 2' by removing the closet doors.
I will be using an ebb & flow bucket system which I will be building myself. I will have 2 reservoirs and 2 controllers because I want to stagger my grows. 12 -16 finishing each month.
After all the reading I've decided on 1000 watt HPS for lights.
1st ? cooltubes or standard air cooled reflector
I would like to use digital ballast. I was thinking about using 240v Lumetek. I've already run my 240v line to the room.
2nd ? Should I use Lumetek or another brand
I've been reading about concerns with 1000 watt dig ballast.
3rd ? Should I be concerned
I was planning on cooling my lights by running ducting to my attic then through the lights and then back into the attic. My only concern here is I live in the desert and my attic gets really hot in the summer.
Any ideas? Or should I not be concerned
I originally wanted to run a Can 100 carbon filter through my lights and then into the attic, but if I do that I will be exhausting my CO2 Im injecting into the room back out. So I will run the Can 100 filter with the fan blowing into the room. This should also help cool the room.
4th ? Is this right or should I do something different
