Incandescent lights will NEVER be enough to grow marijuana, not even if you had 100, in fact that much heat would probably kill your plant. Please read the growfaq before posting, there is alot of info in there on lighting and other topics. Invest in a mh/hps setup, that will give you amazing results. Here's one for pretty cheap. i have read it but i have this problem called mi flourecsent lights are only 17 watts and i figured that a fukn flood light or black light would be more efficient and i rele dont want these seeds to go to waste...they r tiger-striped blue and green

you have some fucking weird seeds if they are blue and green dude, and you sound like you have no clue what's going on. you don't need to look at watts you need to look at lumen output, get some cool white cfls at walmart or something, they carry a 42 watt model that gives off 2700 lumens, get 4 of these for your plant.

k but 1 more quik ? where can u buy a HPS bulb (like lowes or homedepot) and will they be a fire hazard if u use them in a reg. house lighting fixture like a ceiling fan lol

You cannot use them in a regular fan, they need a separate ballast and fixture. I already gave you a link to the cheapest setup I know. that one was a 400w. here si a cheaper 175 watt model. High Tech Garden Supply

i read the whole thing practically but i didnt find it and i fukin hate reading but reading about weed is the best thing ever lol but i have this foot n 1/2 lime green plant mi friend gave me to nurse and i kno mose of mi shit but there r so many rumers of where to cut the males off at can u help me out plz

If you want to get any sort of buds from a female plant you will need to KILL the male.

if it's not in the growfaq don't do it. and I think you meant pistils and NO these are forming buds. and yes unless you have a plant showing both male and female sex signs, kill the male

you wont know if they are male until you begin the flowering state (long way off) and when you do know and you find its a male you dont cut the leaves you take the fucker out side and chop it up and throw it away. a male will pollenate the females if it is let to live and then your fems will have seeds and less thc
