1 Carbon Filter for Flow and Veg?

This is my first growing attempt. I am in the process of putting up my ventilation system in my 20(L)x8(W)x6.5(H) grow room. The room is divided by Visqueen with about 1/4 being dedicated to veg and 3/4 to flow. I have a 440CFM EcoPlus inline fan attached to the compatible 6' EcoPlus carbon filter. The filter is positioned is such a way that 1/4 of it will be in the veg room and 3/4 of it in the flow room. I am planning on cutting a hole in the Visqueen and somehow sealing it around the filter to use the one carbon filter and fan for both rooms.

Will this work?
