My Boo still needs a couple weeks as well. I’m gonna let it ride. Only found one spot of mold so I’ll keep an eye on things and hopefully get it to the finish line…just not quite far enough along for me to chop it. As long as the weather holds, I should be ok. Fingers crossed.

I’ve got a Cherry G on the go as well. Just started to find a few spots of mold and PM today so will monitor and hopefully get them all into the harvest window without much loss. Need 2-3 weeks, ideally. Damn, what a stressful time of year!

So, how does one “flush salts” out of an organic grow in hot soil? Or does flushing not apply here? I have yet to see any science definitively support the practice of flushing. There’s some theories of low probability of positive effects based on limited samples but nothing concrete/extensive...

Trichomes on sugar leaves are not a good indicator of harvest time. A combo of pistils dying back, calyx swelling and bud trichs will tell you when it’s time. Flushing works well for toilets and can actually be detrimental for plants if done too early.

Not true. There are lots of good breeders who offer stabilized strains, reasonable prices and customer support. Hell, there’s members on here putting out better gear than Out House. IHG is the epitome of what’s wrong with this industry. Over-hyped, over-priced pollen chucked garbage with zero...

408 pages is a lot to peruse for an answer so I’m just gonna skip that part. Looking for strain recommendations for outdoors in the far northeast. It’s the one thing that irks me about the CSI website…there nothing for flowering times or which cultivars are recommended for outdoor grows. Thanks.

Boo update from the far northeast. Weather has been spectacular. Great temps, low humidity, no sign of any mold/PM/bugs. It’ll be a banner year if things hold. Looking like an early-mid October harvest for the Boo. Terps are getting more complex and frost is building. Question….how’s the yield...

Honestly, I wouldn’t change anything. It works well and was cheap/easy to build. Just make sure it’s sloped and overlap your poly so that rain doesn’t run between the layers. Also, mine is hinged at the front corners. I used a couple bolts so it’s easier to put up/take down.
