Weekly Update: Attack of the fungus gnats was underway early in the week just a buds started to show. Dropped the humidity, put some sand on top of the soil and let it dry out. Hopefully I have that licked. She went into her stretch last weekend and is now showing buds. We'll keep on truckin.

Weekly update: I managed one female from the bunch. I want to say my little girl is doing just fine but when I see the growth of HydroDan's setup I'm feeling puny.

It is a full spectrum LED bulb that I did not get a Lowe's. And here is my update for the week. #2 has shown HIS sex. #3 has yet to decide. @thedawg what would you like to see from the dirt growers besides a top shot? Are we expected to lift ours out of their cups to see the root ball?

The target is out there a bit. Lots of factors can affect your precision. I'm operating on the KISS principle. No umbilical cords or engineering projects. Really simple: a closet and a light bulb. Throw in a timer and a small desktop humidifier and done.:D

I'll be happy if one of the two I've left is female. Is that the AK in the upper right? It looks robust.

Weekly update: 2 & 3 are doing just fine. Miracle Grow so no nutes are going in till they've shown their sex. At least that is my plan. #5 isn't going to make it but will leave it under the light for another few days.

Two of my beans never sank in the tank. I put them in the dirt but they failed to sprout. Of the 3 that did sprout #2 & #3 are looking strong while #5 is struggling. I found her out of the shallow bed I had carefully created. I tucked her back in but as you can see it is going to be an up hill...

I will never go back to vbrakes on my mountain bikes. Hydraulic disc standard.

Like @nfhiggs I soaked mine in water for 12 hours and into the soil they went. Three have poked thru the soil this morning. Non-feminized OG

My seeds have only been in water for about 8 hours. 3 are still floating. If I pull them now and let them dry will they still be viable at some later date?

I'm guessing the Solo branded cups are what The Dawg's using. My paper Dixie cups were taller yet.
