DiY LEDs - How to Power Them

Should work, although I'm not intimately familiar with inventronics drivers What will likely happen is that, unable to provide the voltage that your LEDs want to run at 2.1A, the driver will provide them with what it can: 148V. So each cob will get 37.0V. In response to not getting the voltage...

Is it possible to control the speed of AC Infinity S or T series fan using Arduino?

Join the chatter here: https://www.rollitup.org/t/idiots-guide-to-getting-an-esp32-to-control-ac-infinity-cloudline-ec-fans-esphome-ha.1053910/ Edit: oh you're already there :)

If you are 45 or over get yourself checked for colon cancer.

You had one too? Now I know two people who had it on the same day, we should start a club. How much do you remember? I caught parts of the process on the big screen, but mostly don't remember it until I felt them uncork me. That kind of woke me up. PSA get yourself a bidet, makes the process...

Idiots guide to getting an esp32 to control AC Infinity Cloudline EC fans esphome/HA

The output of the esp32 gpio pin, when outputting a PWM signal, is a square wave, alternating between 0V and a peak of +3.3V based on the duty cycle its set to. If its an arduino device, it'll output a 5V peak signal. These fans require a 10V peak on the input pin for full speed and that's...

Bypassing AC Infinity Cloudline Pro S4 Factory Controller

Is it really a USB-C plug? That seem like a disaster waiting to happen when someone plugs a charger into the fan or controller, or some other combination. +10V on a random USBC pin might fry something.

Idiots guide to getting an esp32 to control AC Infinity Cloudline EC fans esphome/HA

Oh, Power Earth, indeed. The blue/brown/G&Y combo is very typical European power color code. Try connecting a multimeter between the FG and GND lines and see if it changes as you change the PWM input?

Idiots guide to getting an esp32 to control AC Infinity Cloudline EC fans esphome/HA

That's one sexy access door. I wonder what the FG and PE lines are for, I suspect one is for reporting the actual speed of the fan?

ya the cedar frame outside is 26x24". This round had a couple floods in early veg and it was mopey for too long until it picked up. Had to flip earlier than I hoped cuz we're pressed on time.

    TRUMP CONVICTED

“If the president decides that his rival is a corrupt person and he orders the military … to assassinate him, is that within his official acts for which he can get immunity?” Justice Sonia Sotomayor asked Trump attorney John Sauer. Sauer, invoking an argument he made previously before Thursday...

    Backside of a CXB3590 cob

For shits & giggles, I decided to wire up a cob and see how it looked. Here's the backside of the cob while running at 0.2A (& 30.8V for ~6W) The LEDs shine thru the ceramic support.

What's going on with the specs for this cob? I can't find a clear reference to that particular chip. The specs only show the cxa3590 as having the Y (for 93+ cri), not the cxb3590?

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Both -A and -AB have the Io adjustment, meaning there's a little dial onboard the drivers' circuit that you can adjust to control the maximum amount of current the driver will output. But this little dial can be fragile and it's not recommended you use it as the primary means of dimming your...

    Still going, cupboard

Finally got around to buying a Sensirion SDC40 CO2 sensor, grafted it to the esp8266 that monitors canopy temp & humidity (with a Sensirion SHT30), futzed around with calibrating it, and recorded a week's worth of data: I'm still having issues calibrating the PID controller that does heat...

Thanks for the vote of confidence but please don't bunch me in with the spectrum specialists. I gotta pick my battles and prefer to stick with knowing plenty about electrical circuits, automation, environmental control, programming, engineering, thermal dynamics, fluid mechanics, etc. :)
