I just found out that the TC420/21 Will work with every voltage higher then 9v. The device works on 5v through a regulator. So if i add a 10v switching power supply it will output 10v. Now the question is: How to wire? The v+ and v- input are on a 10v supply and there is a common v+ and...

But when I add a 12v supply to the input and create something like a voltage divider to the output. Looking for some work around. I could imagine that 12v is max and when dimmed it will be less... so I've i add a 10v regulagor at the output it will not exceed 10v? Or is the volage fixed at 10v...

I like the headroom of running them low. Its mostly a surprise how much they stretch. Normally it would be fine. But the spread is more even with more boards. I will look into the qb120 and 288 seems like a good option but nothing is available right now. Does anyone knows the shipping rates for...

The choice of qboards was made for the efficiency. 120 diodes must be driven harder for 60w than 304 diodes. So in my opinion the qb304 also driven at 60w will be more efficient. More efficient means more wattage to light insteed of heat. Or is this so little that you shall not notice any...

I could imagion that if 60w is max for the qb304 without heatsink than the half of the board @60w is to much? Or are they that more efficient?
