    Premixing Nutrients... Question

I'm not sure to be honest. My guess is you would need to experiment. I do know that with A/B type formulas separate stock solutions are usually made. I personally mix up several 5 gallon buckets of nutes at a time and use them over a few days to a week. There may be draw back to this but from a...

Should I harvest? Power Africa x Grape Prez

There are a lot of existing materials a Google away on telling when a plant is ready. Trich color is the best way, but swelling calyx, leaves yellowing and brown/orange pistols are other ways.

    Mammoth P?

I subscribe to the "it's all basically the same shit" philosophy. I've seen a lot of people use a lot of different nutes with varying levels of success.

    Premixing Nutrients... Question

Yes, this is called a stock solution. It is commonly used in fertigation where something like a syphon draws a set amount into a line as the plants are irrigated.

    Legal grow for the masses

No idea on Nevada's laws. I think there are state specific sub forums here. I remember on over grow there was a sticky where a guy had a wooden perpetual cube with two chambers. A small, like 150 watt hps on one side and cfls in the mother chamber. The mothers we're bonsai, and he had space for...

Opinions please on which hydro system to go for?

I've done nothing but soil before this grow. Now I'm running coco perlite hand fed in 3 gallon smart pots. Going to a drip system next. No run off, no problems. I was a fan of this approach because I could slowly go from something soil like to something more hydro like. Next running I might...

    Yellowing has gotten worst

Definitely be careful. If they're happy no need to jack up the nutes. As others have said they look good. Remember too dark of a green is early N toxicity.

    Tap water comparisons

~50 ppm 7.5 PH. Comes out about perfect with Jack's 321. Not enough in it for clones though.

Can you access tents from the side?

If you need to make a makeshift flap there are adhesive zippers, just Google Home Depot adhesive zippers (sorry I can't post links yet.) Before grow tents got big I use to use these with 2x4s and panda wrap to make my own tents.

    Digital image signatures

True. I don't think I'm on the scale that the federal government would expend the resources. You never know though, I suppose.

    Digital image signatures

That's fair, and you're likely right. My thought is that individuals can decide how paranoid they want to be, I'll just share the information. In my case I'm in a legal state so I'm not very concerned with this at all.

Why is g/W used as the benchmark?

Sure, like I said I think gpw can be useful. I am by no means a commercial growers and am concerned about cost. I do realize that I'm likely in the minority as well.

    Digital image signatures

Thanks for the link. The topic of my thread is not image meta data unlike the post you provided a link to. The topic of this post is a method of matching images to the source camera via imperfections in the sensor, spots on the lens etc. Wiping meta data will not prevent matching of posted pics...

    Digital image signatures

I didn't see a "security" thread so I'm posting here. I live in a legal state so I'm not as concerned with this, but for those of you who are posting pics of your illegal grows it is probably in your best interest to at least be aware of the signature created by your phone/digital camera. My...

Why is g/W used as the benchmark?

    Ahem... COBs :)

Why is g/W used as the benchmark?

I agree that you can make it as complicated or as easy as you want. There is a saying that goes something like "All models are wrong, some are useful". I think gpw is wrong and can be useful (just like the formula I proposed). The obvious hole in something like gpw is time. Vegging longer or...

Why is g/W used as the benchmark?

Grams per watt isn't useless. It is certainly imperfect. It is driving towards a metric that is valuable to anyone who is concerned with cost. Grams per watt probably is most valuable for commercial growers as it is their highest reoccurring monthly cost. For the rest of us something like...
