Good read here, but it would be my understanding that landrace strains would be the original strain that developed in that region over thousands of years as being isolated by oceans, mountains, etc.

Yeah as long as you veg under a t5 till your plats are about a foot tall then use that hlg65 you should be perfect in that little cabinet

Yeah a 150w will fry anything you put in that small of a space. I would recommend going with a optic 54w led or the hlg65w, less is more in confined spaces. I have used my optic1 for flower several times and get 2-3 ounces depending on the strain, and that’s in a 21” wide by 15” deep cabinet...

I’ve actually installed several uv filters and ro filters on water lines, you might want to buy a cheap test kit or grab some water and take it to your local plumbing supply house they should test it for free, your best bet will probably be a uv with a acid neutralizer maybe a remineralizer as well
