    UVA/UVB experiences with cannabis?

Hey I'm loving researching building my own grow light lately and would like to add UVA/UVB in the light and wanted to know everyone's experiences with them. Does UVB work better than UVA? Main reason is I can't find a UVB led but I can find a UVA led.

Highest lumen per watt led chip?

Interesting, so around 50 watts most cobs sit around 150-200 lumens per watt or so?

Highest lumen per watt led chip?

I know in 2014 cree broke the record with 303 lumens per watt, im not sure if it's been broken again, but im wondering if someone knows where these chips can be accessed? Most cob builds ive seen get around 125 lumens per watt, and I would like to see what better chips could do

Ph buffers and making your own nutrient solutions

Hey everybody, I've been wanting to order some powders/salts to make my own nutrients, and I'm wondering if there is a way to add a ph buffer like GH does. I like the ease it gives me when I add it to RO water (ph issues are so rare, or non-existant). Is there a 5.8ph buffer somewhere I can buy...

    LED lighting temperature

Hmm I may just get a UFO light, and if all else fails I can use it for a bucket grow, and eventually just make more bucketsense. If I can get about an oz a month in total I should be set

    LED lighting temperature

The temperature seems like it will be fine with an LED from what people are saying, I'll probably go for another LED that may produce less heat as well. As for ventilation or getting air to myou closet am I just out of luck unless I use space buckets?

    LED lighting temperature

I use a fan, would the fan bring in enough air flow for me to work with? Should I just go with space buckets?

    LED lighting temperature

Being in the closet would opening the door for a period everyday checking on the plants not work? If not I may have to use space buckets, I would just like to get more yeild than they can provide. This is mostly an expense thing for me than anything, so I'm looking for the most cheap and...

    LED lighting temperature

I posted a few weeks ago about how my MH/HPS set up was WAY too hot. I am not able to do any venting, so I'm pushed to use LEDs. My question is do you think this light would produce too much heat in a 3x3x8 closet? There is also a 450w and 300w version. I just want to be able to grow to save...

Grow area way too hot (90+ degrees)

I may just have to get rid of my mh/hid set up and get some leds. I let my mh light run on the minimum setting and my temps peaked at 106 in 3 hours

Grow area way too hot (90+ degrees)

Well I can't make a hole in this closet (in an apartment), so I guess I may just be screwed unless I spend another $500- $600 on an LED. I can at least try the portable AC route or maybe even a DIY AC

Grow area way too hot (90+ degrees)

I have been trying to grow medically in closet. It's 3x3x8, I have a 600w MH bulb in now and it's way too hot. I have a fan, but it's too hot to make a difference. I'd there a small AC I could put in the grow room that would bring the temp down 15-20 degrees?
