I've only seen people use rockwool water and then add something to the water . and I've never done any clippings be for so I wasn't too sure how to ask.but if I'm trying to take a clipping to find out the sex of my plant will just putting them in damp soil and light work?

So I think 2 of my plants are males and wanna put a couple clippings on 12/12 . it's there any way to use soil as my medium and how would I go about that? Thanks

I don't have any other nutrients other than this right now . and the humidity has been about 50%
