Interesting. The vipar has another white base, around 3500k and much less 660 added, like mininal. While mars fce is ypur pretty much standard 4000k + 660 in fairly generous amounts. You prefer how the vipar grows?

The veg seedling kit comes with 95cri white spectrum; it comes with a bunch of extra reds baked into the white diodes; without such pronounced 660 peak as mono supplemented, instead peaking around 625-630nm.

If this is mainly a problem on max dim just keep a switch or wago on the dim circuit: cut the circuit and it will default to max output. Good luck

Saving on CO2: that just means less photosyntesis. The stomatal regulation of of green light quoted by mammoth just means that green reverses the blue response, stomatas have less tendency to keep open, in my book not really a good thing.

Depending on the the driver you may be able to just switch the dimer. The driver itself shouldnt have a problem with 5%.
