Do you add the nutrients individually and mix thoroughly before adding the rest? The residue might be gypsum and, while neutral in pH, it would remove ions that might normally interact with the pH up. I use a 3 part like Jacks321 and have to do them in order

The 301h/cree was $183 + $30 shipping (I think) back in 2020. They are the qb288 "style". I also have a HLG b-spec qb in my veg tent. I suspect the 301h on that are a better bin because it is brighter given same wattage. HLG is more expensive here because they are better lights.

I agree with mannitu, the lm281 is a very viable option for grow lights at the moment. While the 301h is undoubtedly the top light, it is in high demand so the prices are high. Less efficient, but still very efficient in relative to history, lights like Bridgelux, Nichon and the lm281 provide...

I use 1/4 strength for seed germination and early days up to day 10. Then I go 1/2 strength until they are done. Only thing I add is Armor Si at 1/2 strength (.5 ml).

I use armor si, added first, then jacks 321 and the use AN pH down. I only use 12 drops and I don’t get any cloudiness, so it can work at least in smaller amounts. 1 thought is silica precipitates out of solution at pH 3 and creates a white powdery effect. Maybe your adding the pH down too...

Best way I’ve found is UV light with no IR. I add IR 3rd or 4th week into bloom. Add in some training I can run Sativas in a 5ft tent and not end up with a jungle.

If it’s 240w it’s likely 576 on two boards. I have the same, or similar I have Cree reds, and I keep it about 18” for flower and 24”-30” in veg. I leave IR off until day 42. I run autos at 18/6 schedule.

And boy does it! Completely solved my height problem and keeps my plants compact going into flower.

Have you watered enough to have 20% run off? If you are using the nutes at full strength your feed likely has a high ec/ppm and the resulting salt build up could cause nutrient lockout and water absorption problems. If it was me I would make a 1/4 strength solution and give enough to have 20%...

What is your feeding/watering schedule with that mix? Do you treat it like hydro coco or soil? Nice plants
