Wow been a minute! Here is an update one week into flower.

I started with pk at 1/2 strength on day one of week 4. Slowly raised it to full strength over a week, then full strength through week 5, and slowly dropping back down to 1/2 strength through week six. Seemed to work well for this crop.

Here is what the ones I sexed turned out like. Had to cut them 3-1/2 weeks early, but they still turned out great for how neglected they were. Pics are of the big main cola and the two that made it in the far back corner of my main grow. 54 grams dried.

So the 4 phenos are ak47 blue, white, green, and yellow. They were popped from feminized seeds. I took clones from each to sex before I committed them to the flower room since I grow scrog, and am fucked if I get a male mid flower. The clones were cut and put into an airoponic cloner for 3 days...

Got my fingers crossed! If it isn't one of these, I have another 28 feminized ak seeds to pop! They say one in twentyfour is the dark cherry. Time will tell

Weigh-in update. 1299 grams weighed and in jars so far. Start trimming all the lower buds today. Letting them sit under the lights for a few extra days seems to have been a wise decision. They went from looking like wispy light colored lower buds to nice dense dark green buds. Final weigh-in...

For this crop I'd make an exception to the no direct wind law. You want to get the humidity of the buds down to 50 or 55% as quickly as possible. Mold won't grow at that humidity. Watch them carefully, and you should be ok.

That's how I did my first bags. You have to go with the heavy duty fabric, and they are a bitch to sew without a commercial sewing machine. They worked great for a year, until I had the extra $ to upgrade to bigger bags.

It's not because they are to ripe! You'd have to grow a 9 week plant for weeks to long before the buds would be to ripe and rott. Mold is everywhere! It needs dead plant material, and perfect conditions to grow. It's always because of Temp and humidity. Don't beat yourself up over this. 55 days...

That's one of the reasons I haven't used them so far, but my research has lead me to conclude that they lose smell because they went into cure to wet or dry. I'll let you know how this cure goes.

I used ffof and happy frog with good results, but switched to coco recently. When I switched from plastic to cloth containers I went from watering every 3 to 4 in plastic to every 2 to 3 days.

A little. It is shocking how fast and evenly they dry out. Never had rootballs like this with any other medium/ pot.
