I forgot I even asked this on here.
so turns out that they both were ready to harvest about the same time. The soil trichomes caught back up with the DWC about two weeks before harvest and were nearly identical.
I downsized my tent size and need to get a fan that clips to the poles. I had bought a couple before but it never moved much air so I used a floor fan, which won’t fit in the new tent.
Any recommendations on a fan that will actually move the air?
I’ve been a soil grower all of my life and recently tried a DWC grow again after failing my first time.
Anyway, I was looking at the trichomes on my DWC plant and they look further along than the soil plant, which is the same strain and the same age. Is this how it is?
Came home and checked roots closer. Most roots were white and healthy. I did find one that was a light light brown, but 99.8% white.
Pretty sure it was over watered. Damn it.
Thanks you two for helping me out in the future.
Right, and I have been constantly checking roots. I’ve had some issues at the start of the plants life with mold on the rocks (water/light, it happens) so added H2O2 and it cleared it right up, but have used enzymes religiously since.
I’m at work right now and didn’t take one but I switched out to plain water and the roots were white from what I could see, but will check closer later.
These two pictures are not even 24 hours apart. Not sure what happened because the PPM and ph was normal, everything was normal as always, and I came to this.
First time trying DWC and dead right before third week of flower… *sob*
Any takes on what happened?
24/7 for the first few days of sprout.
20/4 until the first set of true leaves.
18/6 after that.
16/8 for about 10-14 days before flower.
12/12
11/13 final week of flower.
