I know I had a serious lighting issue as I mentioned earlier, my plant has only had two full days under the new 125w cfl and I am now only going to give it water until I see improvement in the leaves
after doing some research it looks like the best option is to flush my plant out by just feeding it with water for a bit on the edges of my pot. I am also looking for the right ph of full feed and how much ph up to add with 15ml of pure blend pro in one gallon of tap water, any suggestions?
also i have been feeding it half feed for the past ten days and this is the first signs of "anything going wrong" besides the obvious heat and stretching problems that were the result of my last bulb
My ph up just got here and after testing the feed it seems like the feed is to acidic, I also know that my plant has gone through some major stretching and needs to be watered. Now that i have the ability to raise the ph should i go to full feed?
I have a 125w cfl that was an inch and now is two inches way from the leaves, i am feeding it half strength pure blend pro without ph up (i also dont know the ph of the feed + water mix yet) which should come in the mail today
also i have just noticed that on one of the leaves the very tip looks like it is drying out (it's yellow), is this because the light is too close, the plant is getting too hot, not enough water, or the ph of the feed is too high?
my plant unfortunately went through some major stretching as I was learning about the importance of having the right light, now that i have the right light set up there are some small leaves that are a lot lower than the leaves that are close to the light, is it worth it to leave those smaller...
how often do you spray water on your leaves? I have been keeping the plant at 70-75 degrees with a humidity level of 45-57% are these numbers ok? and if not what can i do to help reach the correct numbers
I am currently using a Philips agro-lite BR30 to grow what is now only one plant about a foot tall. I am finally feed up with watching my plant reach and get heat stress so I have decided to purchase a better bulb(s). After doing some research I found a 150W Equivalent Daylight (6500K) Spiral...
After replanting my stretched week-old plant I bought one 75 watt philips agro-lite which is around 7 inches from the top of the plant and it seems to be working decently well. Using these forums I found that using this light isn't the best because of the heat it produces. I have read articles...
