1000 watt ballast from Apollo Horticulture. I believe i figured it out with your guy's help. I say this cuz I turned it on, the bulb didn't blow, and it functioned as normal lol I connected the black wire to what the bulb rests on when put in, and the white wire to the only other hole it fit in...

Ah ok.. So the black wire connects to what the bulb rests on top of (socket) and white wire connects to what surrounds the bulb (shell)? I watched this video on YouTube before and it confused me... It says that the type/color of screws (brass, silver, green) are important too.

How do I wire this ceramic lamp socket? It's the only thing holding me back from starting my grow. I already started wiring them, but I wasn't sure if I did it right. Could u guys help? I don't want to blow a 1000 watt bulb.
