My buddy is being super careful now. He uses the seeds for personal use anyway so its not like he is distributing or anything. I highly doubt anyone is trying to build a case...if they were it would be pretty stupid to make it clear they are watching him buy pulling him over and questioning...

I wasn't the sender or recipient, just asking some questions for a friend... I have no idea how the sender was dressed when it was put in the mail. I find the series of events very strange as well. Why would local police be stopping someone sending a package? The package had not been opened...

Yes...certainly odd that a state cop would ask about a package. That being said, i'm sure that given the information he received, even if he decided it was not worth the arrest he probably would have reported it back to the post office where it was probably flagged for inspection. Just a guess...

I think that makes the most sense. The package was sent from a smaller office to a larger one...upon arrival at the larger office it was probably opened and anything illegal taken. Considering it is such a small quantity and traveling all the way across the country I doubt anything comes of...

Very possible, but the question is...if it was confiscated, why did it leave the post office 2 hours later? Given how quickly they got the information from the sender, it would seem that the package would never made it to the stage of "leaving facility" over 2 hours later. And if it did leave...

This is all the info I have. Cops were totally looking for more info and sender volunteered too much info. But if they were trying to flip the sender, i doubt he would voluntarily tell my buddy about the whole story and tell him to be prepared.

I suppose it is possible. However, i would be surprised they would spend the time, effort and money to put together a case for a few seeds. A few pounds or ounces of weed...sure, but a few seeds?

Do you think the package is actually going to arrive? Tracking hasn't updated since the day it was sent. I would think not, but at the same time, why would it ship out 2 hours after being dropped off? I would think tracking would stop updating after "acceptance"
