well it is, but not offically, i don't bring them grade to exchange for stuff, its like when i need something they hook me up, when i have grade i hook them up, its been like that even before i was growing. everyone brings something to the table, i think its a pretty sweet system.

that sounds like a great plan, i'll think about doing an SoG. I really hope this jack herer is as good as they say it is.

haha i give alot away man, but i get free oil changes, free pizza, dry cleaning and all kinds of free stuff. I works out okay, I don't wanna give that up so i'll just grow more.:-P

Thanks for the advice - i"ll look into the digital HPS. Would you recomend a grow tent? Also, what are the effects of vegging with CFLs and blooming with an HPS?

Hey I know there are little to no shortcuts here, but i have been growing with CFL and never yeilding more than a few ozs. After you had it out to your friends, you only have enough for two three sessions. So for the next grow i want a nice big yeild, enough to go around and still have enough...

Just pick the right spectrum of light, and do research. Read Marijuana BUDS for less it helped me, i didn't follow it step by step, but it help'd me understand alot more about growing. Hybrid your setup with the one in the book and you should be golden. Goodluck

Hey man, take a look at a book called Marijuana BUDS for less Its a great book, they do a cheap setup like yours and end up with a dry weight of 3 ozs. But i do think they have a few more lights than you have. The strain also has a substantial influence on the endyeild, and i can't recall what...

oh about the ballest, go to a hydroponics store and they'll tell you what you need, and which bulbs are best for veg and bloom

hey man, lumens are important but aren't everything, I am running 30 000 lumen now, and growing at a great rate, but all the bulbs are from a hydoponics store and are spec'd to 6400K, the right spectrum (useful light) for the plant to veg, also, i originally had a 10 000 lumen setup (4 bulbs)...

SO super quick update, i've added two more plants next the the jack, its a white widow/blueberry cross strain, should be interesting to watch them grow next to eachother, will have pics shortly
