I just took a look at my girls and noticed some of my seedling have roots coming out the bottom already. After only four days, so i feel like i should wait a little till there bigger but idk. I just dont want them to stop growth. I got them in some small jiffy pots at the moment.

and no mold on my pots, there not falling apart or anything and it smells like dirt above my box? seem to work fine to me but maybe im getting lucky ;]

I have to stick with the cfl because electricity and heat are an issue. But i was just going to add more cfls that are bigger and maybe some different kalvin. And i am serouis i just dont have 200 dollars for lights. Cfls are totally fine and will be perfect for my situation.

The one i got the picture off just looks like its curling up a little. But i havent been using any nutes because they are so young and im sure the soil is plain cause it was a dollar haha. But im learing to be pateint. But thanks for the advice i will wait till i can see some roots :]

I understand that the 6500 would be best for veg but i only saw the 5000 23w and just went with it. It said day light on the package so i assumed that would be the best for growing. But I dont know anything yet. TEACH ME

yea i got the tin foil out after seeing my plants stems growing all curvy and crazy. i went to target and just picked up some cheap white poster board. i trashed my old box and currently moving it into a plastic tote from walmart. MOVIN ON UP! There growing fast so please stick around to see...

idk how you think soil is more difficult then whatever set up you just explained. You lost me at hydro/passive. Im not 100% even sure how hydroponics work so i dont think that would be right for me

Do they have cfls that come in 6500k? and im constantly checkin the heat and growth. i dont have a fan set up yet but i dont think that is really important right now. Thanks for the info though buddy!
