    Maximum dense growth regarding temperature?

I think that helps the plant by encouraging usage of nutrients and growth in the root zone as opposed to foliage (following the concept of higher heat increasing respiration) which would make sense. For actual consumption of energy, I would think a lower root zone temperature and lower air...

    Maximum dense growth regarding temperature?

I've realized I have a lot of issues with plants grown when my temps and humidity are off(particularly in the hot summer months, my windows are oddly shaped and I have to use a very inefficient portable A/C). In the summer months my plants are always excessively whispy and in the winter they're...

    Pot Size

Obviously it depends, but i'd suggest a gallon per foot of height and 2/2 space. If you intend 2 foot plants to cover a 2/2 space each do 2 gallons(a foot of soil in the buckets not counted). If you intend for them to be 5 feet and cover a 2x2 space do 5 gallons. If you intend for them to be 3...

tiny yellow spots tiny brown spots and a browning head

Old post but MY GOD princess... you have webs all over your plant and only now consider that there may be something wrong with the plant because half of it's turned white from the pests? God, I hope that plant didn't make it all the way through flower. Someone that takes that long to notice a...

Want to upgrade to a 600w but concerned about the extra heat>>Look here

Unfortunately BuddaRoom and Smokinmayne... results vary based on your exact setup. The point of this in the first place was to save people buying 2 bulbs and knowing what they can get away with before they make the upgrade.

yellowing for what seems no reason....

It wasn't a PH problem, he already had PH in right the range because as long as it's not above 7 it'll be fine. Some plants like very high and others like very low... and so as I said a micronutrient problem (which already fixed it). Piss off next time before you criticize and give wrong advice.

Want to upgrade to a 600w but concerned about the extra heat>>Look here

LOL @ SixString, are you joking? And I already showed a rough calculation... whatever the difference between no light and a wattage in relation to the higher wattage bulb. If a 400 watt light increases the room temp by 10 degrees then it is reasonable to assume a 600 will increase the room...

Want to upgrade to a 600w but concerned about the extra heat>>Look here

His math is horribly wrong... going from a 400 watt light to a 600 watt light may make a change of ALMOST 50% more heat emitted(he did the math reverse... it's not 33% more but 50% more). By following his retarded logic if your room temp is 80 degrees with a 400 watt light than it'll be 200...

yellowing for what seems no reason....

^apparently he is a little slow on the uptake^ Problem solved... and advice was pretty off anyway. Glad to hear they're doing well Mayhem.

yellowing for what seems no reason....

Unfortunately, I wasn't right. Nitrogen deficiency would just make the leaves look yellow with death at the ends. The leaves turn noticably neon yellow rather than green. This is more of a dried out brown/yellow. It's definitely not nutrient burn because it's on the lower growth. It's hard to...

yellowing for what seems no reason....

Nevermind, I just took another look at it closer and it's not Nitrogen deficient. It might be Potassium but more than likely it's Magnesium.

yellowing for what seems no reason....

Not nutrient burn... Nitrogen deficiency. Nutrient burn means burns on the tips and edges of growth (usually new growth). Nitrogen deficiency means the lower growth turns yellow and starts to die. I could be wrong because I can't see all of the plant, but every time I've had that it's been...

    DWC Help fast please.

"Osmotic Shock Damage to the roots" is apparently what happens... now the question is how quickly will the damn things recover if that is the problem.

    DWC Help fast please.

What happens when the PH goes out of wack too quickly? So far I haven't had much of a problem changing it by .5 at a time... this time was a bit more of a swing than usual (but I also gave a lot more nutrients than usual and had to use a lot more PH UP than usual)

I also haven't foliar fed at all this grow... It looks a lot like Ozone burn but I don't have an ozone generator.

    DWC Help fast please.

It's easy to say keep the PH stable, but the PH has been stable at 5.8 for the past 3 days and the issue is getting worse... so either I shocked it bad or there is something that needs fixing.

    DWC Help fast please.

I'm pretty certain it isn't an overfeed, if it were I should have some sort of nutrient burn and I don't. Water temperature only really effects bacteria growth and Dissolved Oxygen levels not nutrients(unless they are REALLY low temps). I need to know if this is some sort of deficiency or if i...

    DWC Help fast please.

I'm growing Master Kush in DWC and they are in their 2nd week of flower. For the past few days I've been running into issues with spots on all of my fan leaves (new and old). The situation went like this: About a week ago the new growth started to look a little too yellow and my stems were...
