Those clay balls look really wet on top. You want the roots to grow down... If it were me I'd try drying the medium out by whatever means possible (lowering the nutrient solution). The roots should grow down searching for water. If it's too wet they won't go anywhere and neither will your plant.

I guess bathroom outlets get their own 20 amp line as your average blow dryer can get upwards of 2000 watts. There're no blow dryers in this house to worry about :)
