Ok, to all of you who didn't mind the cat and instead tried to help: I bought perlite and made a 1:1 mix with soil, washed her roots, cut some away, and replanted her, even though she was smelling dead already. I am so fucking sad =/

I got a pencil and poked some holes in the soil, and messed with it gently to allow air flow there. I don't know if I should take her out of this soil, wash the roots and etc, I'm sure it will be worse since it's not good to mess with the roots if you can avoid it. What is perlite? Is it that...

The soil I got from a park near home, believe me, it's a good soil, she was really healthy before the cat incident.. I'll be travelling for one month =/ Can someone give me some tips on how to change the soil without hurting her even more?
