Forgive my stupid question but what does too hot mean?

Hi its just John Innes multi purpose compost ... no1 2 and 3 were all out of stock No I havn't fed them at all, but I was thinking it was nute burn too, could it be the compost as above?

I have moved the plants down lower away from the lights to see if that will help and I had another look at the plants, I have four growing around 3-4 weeks now (transplanted 2 weeks) and one of them has got slight white tips, Should I start giving them nutes now?

Hi, First post here and first grow (wardrobe grow)! The tips on some of my leaves are turning brown at the tip only and i'm wondering what is the cause and how to resolve this problem, I hadn't given them any nutrients as they were transplanted into there new pots with new john Innings compost...
