if you get seeds for a "short" strain you can keep it in a small cup and it will only grow to the size of that cup cause the roots can't support any more. pull the branches horizontal to get those tiers

Cool, I happen to have 4x5000k in there, I'll grab a 3000K soon. SCROG sounds good although there's a chance I might be getting a bigger light for bloom time so they might have to move. Your LED/400w cab is impressive, will SCROG work as well with soil as hydro?
