Well lets see. Basically I vegged about 6 weeks. Lst grow in a 1 gallon pot. 8 cfls @26 watt per bulb 1600 lumen per bulb I harvested 40.2 gram wet. After dry and cure it came out to be 28.4grams dry. So if I take 208watts / 28grams ==7.4285714286 is this correct?
Yea think from my experiences that the sex is predetermined from seed. Normally I lst the hell outta my plants from start to finish. No boys. Npw lately ive been running 2 grows of 12 all og strains. I haven't lstd all of them. The ones that are growing vertical with no stress at all it seems...
Ok i have a male (og family) and one of my fems is a random bagseed of some really good mid i had.
So my question is. I plan on pollinating my lady. Normally i make my own seeds by just selecting a spot on my budding fem under direct light but this time i am going to polinate an entire plant...
Yea i dried on my rack very similar conditions to you, very fast, less smell, bigger bud tho.
Same plant bud the other half of it. Dried hanging w/ leaves on until dry then trim.
Buds lighter and more dense. Smell was stronger also.
What u can do is split them up. Do u have a cabinet or small closet just for darkness? Only negative is that you will be rotating plants and your lights will be running 24/7 w/ u changing out your flowering plants.
One set of your plants will go thru a 24hr dark cycle to fall into a new dark...
Using cfls basically surround your plants w/ lights.to Keep it simple and cheap buy the 23-26 watt energy saving bulbs. Tbh id say for every gallon of plant growth id keep at least 10 cfls shining on her. At least 5 @2700k 3 @ 5000k and 2 @7500k. Add more lights as needed per plant growth...
Well i was just searching thru looking for new and interesting info. Thats cool bro. Never really tried vert growing. I usually do lst, bush style :-)
Well ill sub in and keep in touch
I harvested 50% of my stalks. I grew LST style so u get my drift.
I left main stalk and a few other totally intact and some of the stalks w/ smaller buds i left to allow them to mayb fatten up.
Figure it wouldnt hurt to have some of the plant more "couchlock" and mix it all up when cures are...
