trying the onyx more vertical...like this that one onyx veg covers nearly the whole 4x4 tent

the tent is 6x6...angling the panels makes the light footprint larger and means that 90% of the grow is covered by all 4 lights...it's only the very sides that don't all 4 lights...only 2...but it's enough to still grow buds... if the plants would be of similar height the light spread would be...

there are 5 plants atm...i was planning on 9 but they just got too big too quickly. harvest should be now but due to timer failure flowering was late and the mazari even tried to reveg...regardless if they are ready or not they will have to come out soon... compared to the hps the leds are...

unfortunately there are some very draconian laws where i live that could see every asset seized for even minor illegal activity... this grow supplies 4 of us and this falls under gang/organised crime.... when we break it up each of us gets 1 onyx and we will set up our own individual grows to...

these are my first ever LEDS...and no i don't have a thread..this grow set up will probably go after this harvest...

having 4 onyx bloom i have to say that i am impressed with their performance, they have excellent penetration and seem to have the plants making crystals more then i used to get with hps...the only neg i find is the coverage...to address this in the flower tent i simply placed mine on an angle...

good work capt....your plants are powering along nicely.... will you run lights on one side or two of the screen? vert really allows for a heap of flexibility but i am not really convinced of it being a more productive way to grow...i am considering if throwing up a screen in the centre of my...

too long...having just gone back to DTW hydro after years of organic soil i wasn't prepared for the growth rates... the big sativa in the centre is about to grow through the tent roof...

not bad...got the veg tent going today... but the flower tent is a shit fight...

the drivers on my onyx are very quiet...i cant hear them over my exhaust fan...

no need to wory about wicks not allowing for enough water during flowering...the roots of my plants grew down the wicks and into the res....and went BOOOMMM..... i do DTW atm though....
