From what I've read, you'll probably want to cut them in short bursts as you don't want to shock or put any stress on your plant.

Here's a quick update on Day 20 of Flowering. The buds on the larger plant are coming along really nicely, which I expect to fatten up quite a bit soon. Some of the yellow and dying leaves were removed, and other than that everything else is routine. You can't really tell in the pictures...
