Ok. I read the entire GrowFaq guide and that really helped. But it didnt say how long it takes for a plant to be fully matured. So how long does it take to be fully matured and ready to be harvested??

Hey im thinking about growing for the 1st time and i was wondering..when should I pick the buds off to smoke it and what not? And could i plant the seeds in an empty milk jug that i have cut the top off of? Please reply. Thanks alot.
