Like me, you are being forced to see how close you can get your lights to the tops of your plants, because you are running out of room to raise the lights. Perhaps if you had kept the light closer to the tops of the plants when they were smaller, they wouldn't have stretched quite so much.

Are you using the 72V or 36V version of the CXB3590? If you are using the 72V version, can you dim your driver down to 700ma? If not, get a big ass fan or a few little fans blowing on the heatsink and you will be fine.

Is there any reason to not run CXB3590 36V and 72V cobs on the same driver? I don't think it should be a problem, but I haven't tried it myself yet.

That table looks right. I used 90 degree reflectors on a couple of Vero 29 COBs and the light spreads out fast. It is only when you put hour hand a couple inches under the reflector that the light is very tight and concentrated. A foot or so below the reflector the light is well spread out.

I bought 6 CXB3590 3000K 36V COBs at the same time and some holders as long as I was going to be paying shipping costs anyway. I think I got 16 or so, so that I have more than I need now and have a stash for replacements or future projects.
