i was told that baking soda makes the soil less acidic and lime juice or even vinegar helps with alkaline issues. I watched it all on youtube. I dont have a PH meter yet so i was hoping it would calm the acidic peat moss and not burn my seedlings.

i have another seedling in: organic potting soil peat moss perlite vermiculite and mushroom compost. looks to be doing well but is only a week old. I dont want to waste my time and was hoping to find out more so i can grow confident.

yeah the percentages are off a bit,but initally i only put 10 perlite and 10 vermiculite. I added more perlite because soil seemed kind of heavy still. So i say 20% on perlite. Its honestly a balance of the two,the soil and mushroom compost were much more precise.
